Our Name
KIERUMI is a blend of the Japanese word kieru (消える, “to vanish”) and the Italian mi (“myself”).
It reflects the idea of the vanishing self — that when the outer self disappears, a deeper truth can emerge.
For us, it’s about looking beneath the surface. Honoring what lives beyond the reach of intellect — in feeling, intuition, and spirit.
Traditional Japanese culture holds this spirit close: subtle beauty, quiet mystery, the wisdom of nature, and a reverence for what is unseen. These are the qualities that draw us in — and that we seek to carry forward.
